Netanyahu plans to issue military directives on Gaza war goals

"Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he will issue new directives to the military this week regarding the ongoing war in Gaza.

In a statement Monday, Netanyahu said he will convene a meeting of the security cabinet to formally instruct the army on the objectives of the war, reaffirming his commitment to continue the military offensive on the besieged strip.

“We must continue fighting together to achieve the goals of the war,” Netanyahu claimed, outlining those goals as “defeating the enemy, freeing the hostages, and ensuring Gaza never again poses a threat.”
