Jordan continues Gaza aid airdrops with support from allied nations
The Jordanian Armed Forces continued on Monday to deliver food and humanitarian aid to Gaza by air, in cooperation with several allied and friendly countries. The effort is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing campaign to support civilians in the besieged enclave and alleviate their suffering.
According to the military, seven aircraft participated in the latest round of airdrops, including two from the Royal Jordanian Air Force and five from partner nations: the United Arab Emirates, Germany, France, Belgium, and Canada. The total payload amounted to approximately 45 tons of aid.
With this, the number of airdrops carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces has reached 139, while a total of 289 joint airdrops have been conducted in coordination with allied countries. These missions have delivered around 290 tons of aid since the resumption of airdrops roughly two weeks ago.
