Jordan conducts 7 new Gaza airdrops with international allies
The Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) carried out seven humanitarian airdrops over Gaza on Sunday, continuing the Hashemite Kingdom’s sustained campaign to deliver urgent aid to Palestinians facing increasingly dire living conditions.
The latest mission, coordinated with a number of allied and friendly nations, delivered 61 tons of food and humanitarian supplies. Participating aircraft included two from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, two from Germany, and one each from the UAE, France, and Belgium.
Members of the Senate’s National Guidance and Media Committee joined the airdrop operation to observe firsthand Jordan’s humanitarian role. The senators commended the Kingdom’s leadership in supporting Gaza, voicing appreciation for His Majesty King Abdullah II’s steadfast advocacy for the Palestinian cause on the international stage.
With Sunday’s operation, the total number of airdrops conducted by JAF has reached 421, including 284 in cooperation with international partners. Since airdrops resumed last week, approximately 262 tons of aid have been delivered to Gaza.
