Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s military wing, Saraya al-Quds, released what they called the "final message" of "Israeli" captive Rom Braslavski, after announcing last week they had lost contact with his captors.

In the video, Braslavski appears pleading for food, saying, “I am not eating or drinking. Please bring food, I am dying of hunger.” He also expressed fear that he might not leave Gaza alive.

Braslavski stated he was being denied food due to the "Israeli" military operation “Gideon's Chariots” and held "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for his deteriorating health and lack of nutrition.

He introduced himself in the video: “Hello everyone watching this tape. I am Rom Braslavski, 22 years old, a soldier in the Israeli army, held captive by the Islamic Jihad Movement – Saraya al-Quds.”

Braslavski said he had been in captivity for nearly two years and described ongoing suffering, mentioning pain in his feet and hands and a worsening condition since the "Israeli" operation targeted Gaza.

He recalled watching television by Saraya al-Quds’ order and witnessing starving children and skeletal bodies, adding, “I have never seen such scenes of "Israeli" children. This is illogical and cruel.”

In his message, Braslavski held Prime Minister Netanyahu responsible for his health condition, stating, “Netanyahu is responsible for my illness and blood. I was very close to death, and I am dying of hunger here.”

The soldier concluded with a plea: “Please bring food before I die of hunger. Saraya al-Quds used to help and fulfill my requests, but now supplies have run out.”

Palestinian Islamic Jihad shared this video of "Israeli" captive Rom Braslavski on its social media platforms Thursday.
