VIDEO: "Israel" strikes reportedly Hezbollah-linked weapons facility in eastern Lebanon
Israeli Occupation Minister Israel Katz announced Thursday that the "Israeli" military carried out airstrikes targeting Hezbollah sites in Lebanon, including what he claimed was a key facility for precision missile production in the eastern Bekaa Valley.
According to Katz, the targeted site is believed to be Hezbollah’s largest weapons manufacturing plant and has been struck multiple times since the ceasefire agreement took effect in November. The strikes are part of what he claimed was an ongoing effort to prevent the group from rearming.
"Any attempt by the terrorist organization Hezbollah to regain strength or reestablish its threat will be met with relentless force," Katz stated.
He also confirmed that several other Hezbollah-linked locations were hit, particularly sites where the group was allegedly attempting to rebuild its capabilities.
Lebanon’s state news agency reported that "Israeli" warplanes launched at least six airstrikes across southern Lebanon, in addition to five more on the eastern mountain range near the Syrian border.
