VIDEO: US envoy Witkoff to enter Gaza, inspect aid distribution: White House

US President Donald Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and ambassador to "Israel" Mike Huckabee will enter Gaza on Friday to inspect aid distribution and supposedly meet with residents of Gaza. 

"Tomorrow, Special Envoy Witkoff and Ambassador Huckabee will be traveling into Gaza to inspect the current (aid) distribution sites and secure a plan to deliver more food and meet with local Gazans to hear firsthand about this dire situation on the ground," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told journalists

Witkoff, US President Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy, arrived in “Israel” earlier the same day for urgent talks. His visit comes as international criticism mounts nearly two years into the war, with aid agencies and rights groups warning of mass starvation and systemic obstruction of aid.

While in “Israel,” Witkoff met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss expanding humanitarian access to Gaza and explore possible next steps, including the prospect of a ceasefire.
