Trump: Many in Gaza would leave if given alternatives

US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Gaza is in urgent need of food and expressed confidence that “Israel” is capable of managing food distribution centers in the besieged territory.

Trump stated that many people in Gaza would consider leaving if given alternatives.

He described the images coming out of Gaza as “horrific” and stressed the importance of delivering food to children in the enclave.

Commenting on Britain’s recent pledge to recognise the State of Palestine in September if “Israel” fails to act, Trump clarified that he and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer had not discussed the matter.

“We never discussed it,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.
