Jordan sends food aid convoy to north Gaza

The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) dispatched a convoy of food aid Wednesday to the World Central Kitchen in the northern Gaza Strip.

The operation, coordinated with the Jordanian Armed Forces, marks another step in Jordan's ongoing efforts to bolster food security in Gaza Strip, a statement by the JHCO said.

The aid, part of an intensive humanitarian coordination effort to meet the urgent needs of affected residents, included 36 trucks loaded with food supplies.

These trucks entered northern Gaza via the Zikim crossing.
