Jordanian aid convoy heading for Gaza
Jordan sends 50-truck aid convoy to northern Gaza
Continuing the humanitarian efforts of Jordan to support the Gaza Strip, and in direct coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army (JAF), the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) has dispatched a new convoy of 50 trucks loaded with essential food supplies to northern Gaza, in cooperation with the World Food Programme (WFP).
This convoy is part of Jordan’s ongoing support since the beginning of the crisis in the Strip, at a time when the region is suffering from a severe humanitarian deterioration, particularly in the northern areas, which face acute food shortages and continuous disruption in supply chains.
JHCO affirmed that the aid is being sent as part of an emergency response plan, implemented under the supervision of relevant authorities to ensure that food assistance reaches the most affected families, through carefully planned distribution mechanisms and in coordination with local partners in Gaza.
In its statement, the organization emphasized its continued commitment to sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, reinforcing Jordan’s steadfast role in supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering under the difficult circumstances they are enduring.
