Since 2023, numerous YouTubers have come together to raise funds and awareness for humanitarian aid in Gaza, utilizing their massive platforms to advocate for Palestinian rights.

Through livestreams, dedicated videos, and direct appeals to their audiences, these creators collectively helped raise millions of dollars for organizations such as the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), HEAL Palestine, and UNRWA.

The Try Guys

The popular group The Try Guys, Zach Kornfeld, Keith Habersberger, Eugene Lee Yang, and others, lent their Los Angeles studio for the Creators for Palestine livestream, ensuring a professional, high-quality broadcast featuring over 30 creators. With millions of subscribers, they amplified the event’s reach by promoting it heavily on their channel and social media.

Kornfeld, who is also Jewish, has consistently educated followers online on the difference between Jewish identity and Zionism.

Kurtis Conner

YouTube comedian Kurtis Conner, with nearly 6 million subscribers, participated in the Creators for Palestine livestream. Conner urged his fans to donate, promoting the fundraiser across all his social platforms.

Jarvis Johnson

Known for his reaction and commentary videos, Jarvis Johnson used his platform of 2.09 million subscribers to encourage fans to donate to humanitarian causes and support the Creators for Palestine fundraiser. He also joined Hasan Piker, Smosh, Try Guys, and many others' livestreams to raise money for Palestinian charities.

Ted Nivison

Known for his quirky humor and love of Rainforest Cafes, Ted Nivison participated in livestreams raising funds for charities that aid Palestinians, including the Try Guys' livestream, as well as Hasan Piker.

Smosh

The long-running comedy collective Smosh, featuring Ian Hecox, Courtney Miller, and Shayne Topp, contributed live sketches and interactive segments to the fundraiser. Promotional videos on Smosh’s main channel encouraged donations, helping draw in a younger demographic. Their presence made the livestream entertaining while keeping the focus on the humanitarian crisis.

Tyler Oakley

Long-time YouTuber Tyler Oakley joined the May 30, 2024 livestream, hosted on Hasan Piker’s Twitch and The Try Guys’ YouTube channel. Oakley promoted the fundraiser across his social media, encouraging his diverse fanbase to donate to MAP, PCRF, HEAL Palestine, and UNRWA. His participation helped the collective effort surpass USD 1.5 million in aid for Gaza. He also consistently posts and advocates for the Palestinian cause online.

Julien Solomita

Jewish Twitch streamer, vegan chef, and husband of famous YouTuber Jenna Marbles, Julien Solomita, was among the most vocal advocates. Participating in a separate fundraiser stream for PCRF, Solomita declared, “Free Palestine or nothing,” distancing himself from collaborators who stayed neutral. His consistent advocacy across Twitch streams encouraged significant contributions, earning him praise from fans for his unwavering stance.

Dan and Phil

YouTube duo Dan Howell and Phil Lester took a bold stand, using their birthdays to fundraise over USD 500,000 for Palestinian aid. Unlike many creators who avoided taking sides, Dan and Phil openly expressed solidarity with Palestine, encouraging donations to humanitarian organizations. Their direct advocacy sparked important discussions about Gaza within their massive fanbase.

Jacksepticeye

While the extent of Seán McLoughlin's, who goes by Jacksepticeye, advocacy is not fully known, he has spoken out for the people of Gaza numerous times on X, deeming 'Israel's' actions in the strip as a genocide.

Markiplier

Mark Fischbach, widely known as Markiplier, is one of YouTube’s most influential creators, with over 37 million subscribers and a reputation for blending gaming content with philanthropy. He was asked during a livestream whether he was “The Mark” who had anonymously donated to a fundraiser for Palestinian charities. He confirmed that it was indeed him.

IShowSpeed

IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., has emerged as one of the most vocal mainstream creators advocating for Palestine. With over 25 million subscribers, the American YouTuber and streamer has repeatedly used his platform to raise awareness for Gaza, often shouting “Free Palestine!” during livestreams and even unfollowing a pro-'Israel' supporter live on stream.

His advocacy goes beyond words; in June 2024, he donated USD 50,000 of his MrBeast challenge winnings to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF).
