Abu Obaida marks one year since martyrdom of commander Mohammed al-Deif
Abu Obaida, the military spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, commemorated the first anniversary of the passing of the great martyr and leader Mohammed al-Deif.
He highlighted al-Deif’s pivotal role in leading the Aqsa flood operation, which inflicted the harshest blow in the history of 'the Zionist enemy', permanently shattering 'Israeli' deterrence.
Abu Obaida said that al-Deif’s leadership united the energies of the Arab and Islamic nation, redirecting their focus towards Palestine and restoring the Palestinian cause to the forefront once again.
He described decades of jihad, pursuit, sacrifice, leadership, and creativity culminating in al-Deif’s martyrdom, joining the ranks of the great martyrs of the Palestinian people and its leaders. Abu Obaida emphasized how the blood of al-Deif and his fellow commanders mingled with the blood of Palestinians and the wider Ummah, who sacrificed everything for Al-Aqsa and Palestine.
The spokesman also praised al-Deif for reviving the legacy of early Islamic companions and warriors such as Ali, Khalid, Al-Qa’qa’, and Al-Muthanna.
He said al-Deif remained an inspiration for generations who never saw his image but took pride in the victories of his brigades, and that he will continue to be a beacon for freedom fighters worldwide.
