Jordan weather forecast: Slight dip in temperatures, heat persists through Tuesday
Jordan's Meteorological Department (JMD) issued its weather forecast for Sunday through Tuesday, predicting a slight decrease in temperatures on Sunday, though they will remain slightly above average for this time of year.
The department stated that relatively hot conditions will persist across most areas until Tuesday, while the Badia region, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience hot weather. Winds are expected to be moderate northwesterly, occasionally strengthening, particularly in the afternoons.
For nighttime hours, the forecast indicates moderate temperatures in most regions, with relatively hot conditions in lower elevation areas.
The JMD advised the public to avoid direct sun exposure during midday, especially in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, due to the high temperatures expected in these regions.
