VIDEO: Settler killed, four wounded; two Palestinians killed after alleged attack
Two Palestinians were shot and killed by 'Israeli' forces on Thursday after allegedly carrying out a combined shooting and stabbing attack in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, south of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
According to Hebrew media, the incident resulted in the death of an 'Israeli' settler, identified as a security guard, and left at least four others injured. The attack reportedly took place at a commercial complex near the Gush Etzion junction, with the Rami Levy supermarket being one of the main targets.
'Israeli' Army Radio claimed the two Palestinians were killed while allegedly attempting to carry out the assault, which reportedly involved both gunfire and knife attacks inside the shopping area.
Following the incident, 'Israeli' police forces rushed to the scene, launched a search operation for possible additional suspects, and urged settlers to avoid the area.
The Gush Etzion settlement bloc, located between Bethlehem and Hebron, has seen heightened tensions and frequent confrontations in recent months, amid the ongoing war in Gaza and rising violence across the West Bank.
