The Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced on Thursday that it had received several reports this morning regarding the fall of unidentified objects in various governorates across the Kingdom, all of which were promptly addressed.
One of the reports was from the Abu Nseir area, where authorities responded to the scene and discovered that a drone had crashed near a commercial area. The incident caused damage to a vehicle and a bus stop shelter. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Specialized security and military teams have begun handling and investigating the incident.
The PSD reiterated its warning to the public to avoid approaching any unidentified or suspicious objects, which could be extremely dangerous. Citizens are urged to report such findings immediately via the unified emergency number 911 and to allow the relevant authorities to respond and investigate safely.
