Jordan weather forecast: relatively hot conditions to persist through Sunday

Jordan’s Meteorological Department forecast continued relatively hot weather across most parts of the Kingdom over the next four days, with temperatures expected to be slightly above seasonal averages.

According to the department, daytime highs will range around 2 to 3°C above the typical averages for this time of year. Most areas will see relatively hot weather, while the Badia region, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba are expected to experience hotter conditions.

Northwesterly winds will blow at moderate speeds, occasionally becoming active, especially in desert areas.

Nighttime Conditions

Nights will be generally mild across much of the country, though the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain relatively warm.

Friday

A slight drop in temperatures is expected. Weather will be seasonally warm in the highlands and plains, but hot conditions will persist in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will continue from the northwest at moderate speeds, occasionally picking up in the eastern desert. The night will remain mild in most regions and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Saturday and Sunday

The relatively hot weather is expected to persist in most areas, with continued hot conditions in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Nighttime temperatures will remain mild in most regions and warm in the low-lying areas.
