Iranian FM: We act in self-defense, not seeking nuclear weapons

Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated on Wednesday that Tehran's actions are purely defensive, emphasizing that Iran has only responded to 'Israeli' aggression so far, not to those supporting it.

He accused 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of provoking the current conflict to sabotage diplomatic efforts and stressed that Iran has consistently upheld its public commitments, including its stance against pursuing nuclear weapons.

“We will continue to defend ourselves with pride and courage,” he said, warning that any aggressor will regret their actions and pay a heavy price.
