Death toll from ‘Israeli’ airstrikes rises to 585, over 1,300 injured: Media reports

Iranian media reported Wednesday that the death toll from ‘Israeli’ airstrikes on Tehran and other populated areas has climbed to 585, with at least 1,326 people wounded since the attacks began last week.

The conflict intensified on Friday when ‘Israel’ launched a wave of strikes targeting Iranian military and nuclear sites. In response, Tehran carried out retaliatory missile attacks on ‘Israeli’ territory.

According to ‘Israeli’ authorities, at least 24 people have been killed and hundreds more injured in the Iranian strikes.

The escalation marks one of the most serious direct confrontations between the two regional rivals in recent history.
