Hamas issues statement on death of Iranian commanders
Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, issued a statement mourning the Iranian military leaders killed in recent 'Israeli' attacks on Iran.
Among the slain commanders were Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces; Major General Hossein Salami, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC); and General Gholam Ali Rashid, commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.

The group praised their pivotal role in supporting the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that their sacrifices reflect decades of steadfast commitment to resisting Israeli Occupation.
The statement lauded Iran’s retaliatory strikes, describing them as a powerful and honorable response that strengthened the resolve of resistance movements.
Qassam Brigades reaffirmed its full support for the Iranian people and leadership, expressing hope for eventual victory over the Israeli Occupation and the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
