'Israeli' rabbi accused of sexually abusing women, minors

Haim Yosef Abergel, a high-profile rabbi in 'Israel', is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct, after an investigation by Channel 12 revealed a series of testimonies accusing him of abusing his position to target women and minors.

The accounts detail repeated incidents of inappropriate touching, hugging, kissing, and indecent exposure, some involving girls as young as 12. One woman said the rabbi told her, “What happened was acceptable... God loves you and protects you, that’s why I’m close to you.” She claimed he then tried to silence her with gifts and money, warning her not to talk about what happened.

Several women described being manipulated during private meetings, and some said they were threatened or pressured by people in the rabbi’s circle to remain silent. Since the broadcast aired, more individuals have come forward with similar allegations.

A police investigation is expected to be launched. The rabbi’s lawyer has denied all accusations.
