Qassam Brigades blow up house with 'Israeli' forces inside

Fighters from Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed that they detonated a house in which an 'Israeli' ground force had taken position, using a series of powerful explosive devices that had been planted in advance.

The brigades revealed in a statement issued Thursday that the operation resulted in multiple 'Israeli' soldiers being killed or wounded. The 'Israeli' military reportedly sent helicopters for evacuation, which witnesses say hovered in the area for several hours.

The incident took place at dawn on the first day of Eid al-Adha, June 6, 2025, on "Villas Street" near the northern part of Khan Younis, specifically in the Al-Satar area east of Hamad City in southern Gaza.

The operation was described Qassam Brigades as a pre-planned ambush that successfully targeted the 'Israeli' troops in one of the fiercest ongoing battles in the region.
