The Hamas movement has accused Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) of committing fresh massacres near humanitarian aid distribution points in the Gaza Strip, claiming that at least 26 Palestinians were killed at dawn while waiting for food assistance.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Hamas alleged that the aid drop sites, coordinated under a US-'Israeli' mechanism, have become “daily death traps” for civilians in desperate need of food and supplies, particularly in southern Gaza and western Rafah.

“These points have effectively become daily death traps targeting innocent, starving civilians,” the group said, asserting that nearly 250 people have been killed in similar incidents around these centers since their establishment. Thousands more have reportedly been wounded.

The group’s press release described the killings as part of a “systematic, brutal policy of genocide,” citing continued airstrikes on residential neighborhoods and displacement camps as evidence. Hamas accused the 'Israeli' government, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, of weaponizing humanitarian aid as “a tool for killing, abuse, and humiliation.”

Calling on the international community to intervene, the statement urged global institutions to put an end to the “barbaric mechanism” and to hold 'Israel' accountable for what Hamas labeled as “sadistic criminal behavior.”

Hamas also appealed to Arab and Islamic nations to apply pressure on 'Israel' by demanding the opening of border crossings and facilitating the delivery of aid into the besieged territory.
