Tesla stock drops amid Trump-Musk feud
Tesla shares took a sharp hit on Thursday, tumbling by 8 percent on Wall Street, after tensions between US President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk burst into the spotlight.

The fallout came after Trump, speaking from the Oval Office, said he was "very disappointed" in Musk for publicly denouncing a major policy bill championed by the administration. “Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore. I was surprised,” Trump said.
In response, Musk did not hold back, accusing Trump of “ingratitude” for what he described as years of support. While he didn’t elaborate, Musk has previously aligned with the administration on certain business and innovation initiatives.

The public disagreement appears to have unsettled investors, with Tesla’s share price suffering its steepest single-day decline in weeks.
