05-06-2025 13:51|Jordan’s Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and head of the Jordanian Hajj delegation, Mohammad Khalaileh, announced Thursday the death of a 72-year-old Jordanian pilgrim (born in 1953) during Hajj.
The pilgrim passed away at dawn on Thursday after experiencing a health complication, the minister said.
Approximately 8,000 Jordanian pilgrims are participating in this year’s Hajj season, in addition to 4,500 pilgrims from Palestinian territories occupied in 1948. The group is accompanied by a support delegation of religious guides, administrators, medical personnel, and media teams.
