Hot weather to peak in Jordan on Monday: ArabiaWeather
Jordan is expected to feel the full impact of the relatively hot to very hot air mass on Monday, with temperatures forecast to rise further before a gradual drop begins on Tuesday, according to ArabiaWeather.
Temperatures are projected to climb 7 to 9°C above seasonal averages, with Monday marking the peak of the heatwave across much of the country.
Conditions will be relatively hot over the highlands and hotter across the rest of the Kingdom. Extremely high temperatures are anticipated in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and parts of the eastern desert.
Maximum temperatures in Amman and other major cities are expected to hover in the mid-30s Celsius, possibly exceeding that in some neighborhoods. In lower elevation areas like the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, and the Dead Sea, highs could reach the mid-40s.
Nighttime temperatures are also expected to be warmer than recent nights. Conditions will remain moderate in the western regions and eastern plains, but warmer weather will persist elsewhere, especially during the early night hours.
