Jordanians allowed to travel overland to Syria without prior approval: Interior Ministry

Jordanian Ministry of Interior announced today that Jordanian citizens are allowed to travel by land to the Syrian Arab Republic through the Jaber border crossing without the need for prior approval, effective immediately.

The ministry clarified that this decision aligns with procedures followed at other border crossings. Exceptions apply only in cases where security restrictions prevent travel, according to existing protocols at other border centers.

The ministry also urged citizens to adhere to all instructions and procedures at the border crossings and to cooperate with security personnel to ensure safe and efficient processing of travel documents.
