Jordan to see rise in temperatures followed by weekend cool-down

Jordan will experience a significant rise in temperatures on Thursday, with readings expected to be 6 to 7°C above the seasonal average, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

The weather will be relatively hot over the highlands and plains, and hot in the desert areas, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate easterly winds are expected during the day, shifting to northwesterly in the evening, becoming occasionally active and stirring dust, especially in desert regions.

On Friday, a noticeable drop in temperatures is forecast, bringing conditions back to seasonal norms. The weather will be mild in most areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will be active at times and may cause dust in desert regions.

Temperatures are set to rise slightly again on Saturday, with mild conditions in most areas and relatively hot weather in the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will remain active in the desert, continuing to raise dust.
