Hamas issues new statement on Friday

Hamas said Friday that 'Israeli' forces have escalated their deadly military operations across Gaza, committing what the group described as “horrific massacres” in the past few hours that killed more than 250 Palestinians, including children, women, and entire families. Hundreds more were reportedly injured.

The group accused Israeli Occupation of employing a “scorched-earth policy,” targeting residential neighborhoods, displacement camps, hospitals, mosques, and shelters with heavy and indiscriminate bombardment in an effort to force Palestinians into submission.

Hamas said the ongoing massacres reflect Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s determination to carry out a “genocidal campaign in Gaza,” showing disregard for international law and global accountability mechanisms.

The group also claimed that Palestinians are facing a “documented genocide,” broadcast in real time to the world, amid international silence and what it called a clear failure by global institutions—especially the UN Security Council—to stop the assault.
