More than 100 Palestinians have been killed and 67 others injured from Thursday evening through Friday morning in a series of intense 'Israeli' airstrikes targeting various areas across the Gaza Strip. This escalation is one of the deadliest in weeks.

The director of Al-Awda Hospital in Tal Al-Zaatar told Al-Arabi TV that the hospital experienced a “bloody night,” receiving over 75 wounded patients overnight. He also noted that medical services have almost completely stopped in northern Gaza, except at Al-Awda and the Indonesian Hospital.

Medical sources reported casualties following an Israeli Occupation attack targeting an ambulance near Zammo roundabout east of Jabalia, northern Gaza, reflecting the systematic targeting of medical teams.

Heavy shelling also struck Al-Hatibiyah Street and the western roundabout in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, resulting in 8 deaths and multiple injuries, according to an updated count on Friday morning.

In southern Gaza, a home belonging to the Al-Amour family in Al-Fukhari town, southeast of Khan Younis, was hit, injuring civilians, local sources said.

Later, medical sources confirmed that 52 Palestinians were killed in 'Israeli' strikes across Gaza since early Friday, including 44 in northern areas of the Strip.

Threats and Escalation on the Ground

Channel 12 reported that the intense strikes overnight were intended to send a message to Hamas that “Tel Aviv is serious in its intentions,” warning that Hamas’s lack of flexibility could lead to a significant escalation in fighting.

The same channel noted that the 'Israeli' military has expanded its operations in Gaza considerably as US President Donald Trump’s visit to the region nears its end.

This escalation comes amid deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Gaza, where civilians face a suffocating blockade and severe shortages of medical services and food. UN officials have warned of an impending catastrophe unless the bombing stops and urgent humanitarian corridors are opened.
