Jordan condemns "Israel's" closure of Palestinian fund in Jerusalem

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the Israeli Occupation’s closure of the Jerusalem Fund and Endowment, an independent Palestinian institution in Jerusalem.

The ministry described the move as part of a systematic effort by the Israeli Occupation to impose new realities on the ground aimed at eroding the Palestinian presence and erasing the Arab identity of the occupied city.

Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Sufyan Qudah reaffirmed Jordan’s firm rejection and strong denunciation of the ongoing actions by "Israel’s" extremist government, which he said are designed to restrict and obstruct the work of international and civil society organizations operating in the occupied Palestinian territories.

He emphasized that such policies are a deliberate attempt to deprive the Palestinian people of their legitimate rights to education, self-determination, and the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state on their own land.

Ambassador Qudah called on the international community to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities by pressuring "Israel" to immediately cease its aggression against the Palestinian people and their institutions, and to put an end to ongoing violations across the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem.
