Jordan to see notable weather changes this week
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) has forecast significant weather fluctuations across the Kingdom in the coming days, including a rise in temperatures, dusty winds, and chances of local rain showers.

Temperatures are expected to hover around seasonal averages. The weather will be mild in most areas and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high-altitude clouds appearing throughout the day.
Winds will be moderate and northwesterly, occasionally picking up speed. At night, it will be relatively cold over mountainous regions and pleasant elsewhere, with continued northwesterly winds.

A khamasini low-pressure system will impact Jordan, causing a sharp rise in temperatures—8 to 10 degrees Celsius above average.
The weather will be relatively hot across most areas and hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some high clouds.
Winds will shift from moderate southeasterly to brisk southwesterly by evening, with gusts reaching up to 50 kilometers per hour, stirring up dust, especially in western regions.
By nightfall, dust density is expected to increase across much of the Kingdom, with clouds at various altitudes and a chance of isolated rain showers in southern areas during the late night hours.
A flow of cooler, humid air will enhance the chance of light rain showers in the north and center of the country, with occasional strong westerly winds.
