'Israeli' army deploys new 'Bar' rocket in Gaza for first time

'Israeli' Occupation Forces (IOF) have confirmed the first operational use of the "Bar" rocket, marking a significant escalation in their ongoing aggression in Gaza.

According to a statement from the IOF spokesperson, the precision-guided rockets, developed by 'Israeli' defense contractor Elbit Systems, were deployed by the 282nd Artillery Regiment to allegedly strike Hamas positions in southern Gaza.

The Bar rocket, designed for high accuracy and rapid deployment, was used to target what the IOF described as “Hamas terror infrastructure” in densely populated areas of southern Gaza.

The 'Israeli' military claimed that the strikes were allegedlly aimed at minimizing civilian casualties, though Gaza’s Health Ministry reported 12 civilian deaths and 37 injuries in the affected areas, attributing them to the IOF’s latest operations.
