Lebanese President Joseph Aoun raised serious concerns during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Cypriot President, and Greek Prime Minister about 'Israeli' attacks on the southern suburbs of Beirut and recent 'Israeli' threats.

He stressed that these actions continue to violate agreements mediated by France and the United States.

President Aoun pointed out that 'Israel’s' failure to adhere to these agreements threatens regional security and stability.

He called on the international community to take strong action to stop these attacks. While Lebanon remains fully committed to these agreements, Aoun emphasized the need for 'Israel' to comply with them to ensure lasting peace and security in the region.

During his meeting with President Macron at the Élysée Palace, Aoun condemned any aggression against Lebanon and any attempts to drag the country back into violence. He urged Lebanon’s international allies to act quickly to prevent further deterioration and to support Lebanon in implementing international resolutions.

Aoun also addressed Lebanon's challenges, particularly the highest number of displaced people and refugees in the world, and called for international help to build a stable state and restore control over its territory.

Regarding the Syrian refugee crisis, Aoun mentioned that around 400,000 displaced Syrians in Lebanon require an international funding plan to ensure their return to Syria. He also highlighted that while Lebanon is working to overcome its financial and economic crises, it needs more international support to continue this process.

Concerning Lebanon's territorial rights, Aoun stressed the importance of regaining occupied land from 'Israel' and implementing relevant international resolutions, as well as honoring the 1949 armistice agreement.

On a regional level, President Aoun underscored the importance of a peaceful and stable environment, stressing that ending conflicts requires a global system based on human values and principles.
