At dawn, 'Israeli' airstrikes on Gaza kill at least seven civilians
At least seven Palestinians were killed early Tuesday in a wave of 'Israeli' airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense.
Maqmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Civil Defense, told AFP that 'Israeli' warplanes launched multiple heavy strikes at dawn, targeting Gaza City, Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, and Khan Younis. “Seven civilians were killed in the attacks,” he said.
Four people died when an airstrike hit the home of the Bakr family in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of western Gaza City. Two more were killed in a separate strike on a home in Al-Sabra, also in western Gaza, and one person was killed in Khan Younis.
Basal added that the 'Israeli' military demolished more than ten homes in eastern Gaza City and Rafah. An airstrike also destroyed bulldozers and other equipment belonging to the Jabalia municipality in northern Gaza.
'Israeli' artillery shelled several neighborhoods in Gaza City, including Al-Daraj, Al-Tuffah, and Al-Shuja'iya, he added.
