Egyptian teacher sexually assaults student after “demonic possession” lie

A shocking incident has rocked Sheikh Zayed City, Egypt, as law enforcement arrested a teacher accused of assaulting an 18-year-old student after luring her to his home under the pretense of helping her with "demonic possession" symptoms.

The incident began with a 27-year-old teacher employed at a well-known school in Sheikh Zayed City. The teacher, who had developed an interest in one of his 18-year-old students, convinced her that she was suffering from "demonic possession" and that he could cure her through private spiritual sessions at his home.

The student, trusting her teacher due to his position, agreed to visit him. Once at his house, she was shocked when he stripped her of her clothes and assaulted her, claiming that these actions were part of the required healing process. The teacher continued to commit the heinous act multiple times, taking advantage of the victim's ignorance about the dangers she was facing.

Official report, unveiling crime

Unable to endure the repeated assaults, the student decided to confide in her father about what had transpired.

Immediately, her father, an accountant, took his daughter to the first police station in Sheikh Zayed, where they filed an official report accusing the teacher of assaulting his daughter in his home.

The incident was quickly brought to the attention of Major General Hany Shaarawy, the director of criminal investigations in the Giza Security Directorate, after being reported by Lieutenant Colonel Amr Farouk, the head of investigations at the station. Legal action was promptly initiated.

Teacher arrested, ongoing investigation

Following the report, police moved swiftly to arrest the teacher at his home. When confronted, he admitted to committing the crime, citing his admiration for the victim as his motivation.

A formal report was filed, and the public prosecution took over the case, proceeding with all necessary legal steps against the accused teacher, preparing for his trial.
