FM Safadi visits Damascus for talks with Syrian counterpart

Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi is currently holding expanded talks with his Syrian counterpart Asaad Al-Shaibanii in the Syrian capital, Damascus – a statement by Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said.

The discussions come as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Jordan and Syria, and to address regional and international developments of mutual interest.

The two sides are also exploring avenues for cooperation on security, economic, and humanitarian issues – the statement concluded.
