Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned Israeli Occupation’s bombing of the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, which rendered the facility completely out of service. The ministry described the strike as a blatant violation of international law and the 1949 Geneva Convention on the protection of civilians during wartime.

Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Qudah reaffirmed Jordan’s outright rejection and condemnation of Israeli Occupation’s ongoing aggression on Gaza, including the systematic targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure. He criticized the destruction of vital facilities and the use of starvation and siege as tools to forcibly displace Palestinians.

Qudah warned of the serious consequences of Israeli Occupation’s violations on regional peace and security and urged the international community to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities. He called for an immediate end to the assault on Gaza, the opening of crossings for humanitarian aid, and recognition of the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent state on the June 4, 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital.
