"Israeli" far-right leader arrested over attempted sacrifice near Aqsa Mosque

11-04-2025 15:47|Raphael Morris, leader of the far-right extremist Return to the Temple Mount movement, was arrested on Friday along with another member as they attempted to transport a goat to Jerusalem’s Old City, reportedly for the purpose of performing a ritual Passover sacrifice.
According to reports, "Israeli" police stopped their vehicle on Highway 1 just minutes before they could reach the area.
In the days leading up to Passover, authorities have stepped up surveillance and enforcement around the Old City amid fears that far-right activists may attempt to carry out symbolic rituals near or at the site.
