“Not even a grain of wheat will enter Gaza”: Far-right minister Smotrich

“Israeli” Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich threatened Monday that “not even a grain of wheat” enter Gaza, as the Strip is currently battling with depleted aid supplies after “Israel” resumed its aggression on March 18.

His statements came in response to Hebrew media reports claiming that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) informed the government of a need to resume humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

"If this is true, it's astonishing that the IDF is speaking to us via the press. Not even a grain of wheat will enter the Strip."​

"First the hostages and then the defeat of Hamas—this is a slogan whose viability I simply do not recognize," Smotrich said, adding, "It's good that the war has begun. It's unfortunate that it started the way it did. But we are changing the reality in the Middle East” – according to Yedioth Ahronoth.
