"Israeli" media sources reported that "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent visit to the White House was marked by disappointment following US President Donald Trump’s unexpected announcement of direct talks with Iran. This revelation came as a shock to "Israeli" officials, as they had not been informed in advance.

Reports indicate that Tel Aviv was unaware of the agreement reached between Trump and Iranian representatives to establish negotiation channels. This lack of prior knowledge led to visible dismay among members of the "Israeli" delegation accompanying Netanyahu during their meetings in Washington.

Political circles in Tel Aviv expressed heightened concern over the sudden announcement of these talks, particularly given the already tense relations between "Israel" and Tehran. The "Israeli" government has consistently sought to undermine any efforts at rapprochement between the US and Iran, making the news all the more alarming for "Israeli" officials.
