Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced an intensified military offensive in Gaza, stating that Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) are seizing territory, targeting fighters, and dismantling infrastructure.

He highlighted efforts to take control of the Morag corridor, which he referred to as "Philadelphi II," framing it as a strategic move to enforce a new division within Gaza and escalate military pressure.

"We will keep tightening the pressure until our hostages are returned. If that doesn't happen, we will escalate even further," Netanyahu declared, emphasizing that the IOF is operating "with a clear plan and long-term resolve" to achieve their war objectives.

According to the IOF radio, the Morag corridor runs between Khan Younis and Rafah, passing through the former Morag settlement, once part of the Gush Katif bloc.

The IOF reportedly seeks control of this corridor to impose a de facto division of southern Gaza.
