What will weather be like during Eid al-Fitr in Jordan?
Jordan will experience fluctuating temperatures during the Eid holiday, according to ArabiaWeather. Daytime conditions are expected to be mild to warm, while nights and early mornings will be relatively cold, requiring warm clothing.
On Saturday, temperatures are forecast to drop significantly but will remain about 2°C above average. The weather will be partly cloudy, with light morning showers in the north. Meanwhile, the southern and eastern regions will face unstable conditions, potentially bringing heavy thunderstorms, hail, and flash floods. Strong winds in the Badia and along the Desert Highway may cause heavy dust storms.
Sunday will see a slight temperature rise, with pleasant and sunny spring weather prevailing. However, isolated thunderstorms remain possible in the eastern Badia. At night, temperatures will drop noticeably, reaching 10°C in Amman.
By Monday and Tuesday, temperatures will rise again, reaching about 5°C above average. Warm spring weather is expected in the mountains, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience relatively hot conditions. Nighttime temperatures will also become milder.
On Wednesday, the final day of the Eid holiday, temperatures will drop again, bringing back mild daytime conditions and chilly nights.
ArabiaWeather advises wearing warm clothing during the night and early morning hours and exercising caution in the Badia due to the risk of flash floods and dust storms.
