Jordan condemns 'Israeli' attack on Syria

Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the Israeli Occupation Forces' incursion and bombing of the town of Koya, west of Daraa in Syria.

The attack resulted in the death and injury of several individuals, marking a blatant violation of international law and a flagrant infringement on Syria's sovereignty and unity. It also represents a dangerous escalation that will only contribute to further conflict and tension in the region.

In a statement, the ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian al-Qudah, reaffirmed the Kingdom's absolute rejection and condemnation of the ongoing attacks on Syrian territory, which constitute a clear breach of the 1974 disengagement agreement between 'Israel' and Syria.

The spokesperson warned of the serious consequences that could arise from the worsening situation in the region and reiterated the Kingdom's unwavering support for Syria's security, stability, and sovereignty.
