Hamas welcomes statement from Arab-Islamic ministerial committee on Gaza
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has welcomed the final statement issued by the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee concerned with the Gaza Strip.
The statement emphasized the need to halt 'Israeli' aggression, rejected the resumption of military actions against civilians, and condemned attempts to displace Palestinians.
It also reaffirmed the unity of Palestinian land and opposed any demographic or political changes the occupation seeks to impose.
Hamas expressed its support for all Arab and Islamic efforts aimed at rebuilding Gaza, expressing appreciation for the plans to ensure Palestinians remain on their land and for initiatives to provide them with dignified living conditions in the face of the ongoing war and blockade on the Strip.
The movement called for translating these positions into practical steps by exerting real political pressure on the occupation to force an end to its aggression, lift the siege on Gaza, and ensure the entry of humanitarian aid and basic necessities, which would strengthen the resilience of the Palestinian people.
