Hamas leader, wife martyred in 'Israeli' airstrike on Khan Yunis refugee tents
A prominent Hamas leader, Bureau member Salah al-Bardawil, and his wife were martyred in an 'Israeli' airstrike that targeted tents housing displaced people in the western part of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, according to a report by "Roya" correspondent in Gaza.
The airstrike instantly killed al-Bardawil and his wife, and caused significant damage to the homes of displaced families nearby.
Al-Bardawil, a senior figure in Hamas, had held several political positions within the movement.
Hamas Statement
Later, Hamas issued a statement confirming the martyrdom of its political bureau member, Salah al-Bardawil, and his wife, due to the 'Israeli' air raid targeting their tent in the Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis.
The movement stressed that "the blood of al-Bardawil, his wife, and all the martyrs will remain the fuel for the battle of liberation and return, and the enemy will not break its determination or steadfastness."
