Hamas issues statement on latest 'Israeli' attacks
On Saturday, Hamas condemned the ongoing violent assault by the 'Israeli' military on innocent civilians in Gaza, targeting women, children, and the elderly amidst a suffocating siege and a complete blockade on essential supplies.
The movement stated that the death toll since the start of what they termed a "new wave of genocide" has surpassed 630 martyrs, as 'Israeli' airstrikes continue to escalate.
Hamas described the actions of Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government as a "flagrant and unprecedented violation of international law and a blatant disregard for human values," holding the Israeli Occupation fully responsible for the consequences of these crimes.
The group urged the international community, including the United Nations and the Security Council, to assume their responsibilities and take immediate action to halt the massacres being committed against Palestinians in Gaza.
Hamas also issued a renewed appeal to Arab and Islamic countries, governments, peoples, and organizations, calling for support and urging them to fulfill their historical responsibilities in defending the Palestinian people and stopping the ongoing aggression on Gaza.
