Netanyahu to reveal "shocking facts", confirms dismissal of Shin Bet chief
'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he will reveal "dramatic facts" that would be shocking, referring to recent developments concerning the head of the Shin Bet (Israel's internal security service), Ronen Bar.
Netanyahu confirmed that Bar will no longer continue in his role, emphasizing that "Israel" will remain a democratic state governed by law, and that the government has the authority to end the tenure of the Shin Bet chief before its scheduled time.
Netanyahu mentioned that his loss of trust in Bar began on October 7, stressing that his dismissal is unrelated to the "Qatar-Gate" investigation, and that the investigations were launched to prevent the dismissal.
He added that Bar had requested a delay in an internal investigation, which was expected to lead to his resignation, and on the same day, an investigation was opened into the case related to Qatar, sparking widespread controversy within 'Israeli' political and security circles.
