"Israel" claims to have assassinated Hamas' head of military intelligence

The "Israeli" forces claimed on Friday the assassination of the head of Hamas' military intelligence in southern Gaza.

In a statement, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stated that it "carried out an assassination operation targeting the head of Hamas's military intelligence in southern Gaza on Thursday."

The statement identified the target as Osama Tabash, who also served as the head of the movement's monitoring and targeting unit.

Hamas has not yet issued any immediate response to these claims.
