20-03-2025 18:32|The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and the Shin Bet claimed that two high-ranking Hamas officials were killed in recent airstrikes targeting the Gaza Strip.
One of the officials, Rashid Jahjouh, was identified by the military as the head of Hamas’ "general security mechanism." Jahjouh had taken over the position after his predecessor, Sami Odeh, was killed in an IOF airstrike in July 2024 alongside other senior Hamas members.
Another figure killed in the strikes was Amin Eslaiah, who, according to the IOF, oversaw Hamas’s security operations in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.
