'Israel' kills 970 people in Gaza in 48 hours

The health ministry in Gaza reported 970 more deaths in the past 48 hours as 'Israel' intensified its strikes on the territory.

By midday Wednesday, the total death toll had risen to 49,547, up from 48,577 recorded on Monday.

'Israel' carried out a wave of airstrikes overnight between Monday and Tuesday, marking the deadliest escalation since a ceasefire began in January.
