Authorities urge caution as temperatures drop

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has urged citizens to take precautions as a new weather system moves into the region.

According to ArabiaWeather, a low-pressure system is currently centered over southeastern Turkey and is expected to bring rain clouds over the coming hours.

Northern areas, particularly Irbid, will see periods of rain of varying intensity, while high mountain peaks may experience fog due to low clouds.

By nightfall, temperatures will drop significantly, making for cold and partly cloudy conditions across many areas. Rain showers are expected in northern and central regions, with chances extending to the south and east by early morning.

Authorities advise the public to stay updated on weather conditions and take necessary safety measures, especially in areas prone to fog and heavy rain.
